Duration of an Agreement

Duration
--------

In case of a continuing performance contract, such as a licence agreement, the duration of the contract shall be one year unless agreed otherwise. 

Termination
-----------

Unless terminated in writing with observance of a notice period of three months prior to the end of the current term, the contract shall be renewed with the same duration.

Independence
------------

We agree to be independent contractors. Nothing in this Agreement shall be deemed to constitute a partnership or joint venture between us or constitute any party to be the agent or employee of the other party for any purpose. Our agreement does in no way implicitly grant a power or authority of one party to act on behalf of the other party.
